Every day when I’m driving to work I catch myself at thinking of how much I like the Bank where I work. It is not just because it is really a Bank with a capital letter – knocked together, dynamic and perspective.
First of all, I like the people I work with very much – a huge well organized team of professionals devoted to what they do, and just good people. People with their own joys and problems, victories and achievements, their own stories and lives. People who can when necessary find strength – even when there’s almost no strength at all – to cope with common strategic tasks. Responsible and sometimes even self-sacrificing. People who know that Deed –it is not only about flying into the space.
Someone might take these words as inflated. But I really think so.
We live in a complicated and controversial period of rapid development, not simple formation of both our society and the country and the bank system. And the Bank – is a part of this society, and it is developing according to the same rules. We have achieved much, there is much to be improved and even fundamentally changed. There are also goals that could be achieved only within a long-term outlook. And one should have courage to conquer these peaks.
Nothing ventured. I’m glad the people who work with me understand this. If understanding this simple and ancient truth is a common thing – positive changes won’t keep us waiting.
