Automated Banking System Software

The Bank exploits automated banking system SR-Bank 4 for Oracle, main specific characteristics of which are:
- Exploitation of the software on the basis of industrial DataBase System Oracle 9i, which ensures adequate speed, reliability of data storage and processing
- Restriction and creation of access rights for users to the information on the basis of Row Level Security, which ensures restriction of access right not on the application device but on the level of DataBase System
- User`s work on the level of transactions and execution of operations relating thereto. It allows to reduce significantly operating risks, to increase substantially speed of customer service, to introduce technological procedures for bank product support etc.

This banking system due to its flexible setting mechanisms allows to introduce new banking products into exploitation within short terms.

When using automated banking system SR-Bank 4 for Oracle data back-up mechanisms are used offered by DataBase System Oracle 9i (so called StandBy Server).
Cross system software of the Bank is based on exploitation of Windows XP on working stations and Windows 2003 Server
Shift of working stations of the head office into the domain on Windows 2003 server with the use of group policies, standardizing and unifying settings of all the domain working stations.

Projects completed in 2007

IT Centre has implemented the range of projects which have a priority significance both for the Bank and its customers:
The Bank has completed introduction of the DataWarehouse system. This system is a key for solving tasks relating to analytical and management reporting, creation of tasks relating to forecasting and financial analysis.
List of services provided by Internet-banking and Mobile banking was extended.
Customers can enjoy the following extra services:
- Phone banking services – receiving information regarding account balance via phone, request for account statement via phone to e-mail or fax
- Internet-banking services on the basis of thin client web-browser, including ones for mobile devices
Call-centre technological platform was implemented, which enables the call-centre to operate online 24/7.

Software upgrade process goes on permanently, as well as unification of configurations and exploitation of new services:
- Centralized system for system software update was created on the Bank branches on the basis of WSUS server in the head office. Windows system update service and Remote installation service placed into operation in the head office
- System for monitoring of hardware and system components of server park in the head office on the basis of Dell IT assistance, KS- soft Host Monitor
- Hardware and software standards of computer Technique Park in the head office were established, reference patterns of installed software were created
- New services were placed into service (National depositary, Salary, Warehouse), providing users of corporate network with access to these services (use of terminal servers)
- Antivirus system of the head office is arranged and centralized

Plans of the Bank for 2008:
- Introduction of automated electronic document circulation system of the Bank in the course of 2008
- Creation of communication channels with bank branches on the basis of MPLS technology and back-up communication channels
- Introduction of CRM system
- Introduction of Help Desk system
- Introduction of mobile banking, oriented on extension of alternative sales channels by the officers of the Bank front office
- Expansion of sales of banking products through Internet
- Establishing the system of centralized monitoring of the Bank corporate network
