Retail Banking

The Bank offers individuals:

  • opening and maintaining term and current national and foreign currency accounts
  • consumer lending
  • broad spectrum of cash settlement ransactions
  • utility payment services
  • payments for telecommunication services
  • payments for mobile telecommunication services
  • UAH national currency payment
  • payment cards opening
  • express money transfers through Western Union
  • AVERS instant money transfers
  • sale and servicing Thomas Cook and American Express traveller's cheques

     

    Active operations

    In 2005, the Finance and Credit Bank' credit portfolio of individuals increased more than 2.5 times and made up over UAH 676 million as of 1 January 2006.

    The share of mortgage lending accounted for nearly 50% of the entire portfolio of credits to individuals (UAH 337.65 million, in multicurrency), the share of automobile loans comprised nearly 25% (UAH 168 million, in multicurrency), the share of consumer loans under "Payment by Installment" program was nearly 10% of the same lending portfolio (UAH 66.26 million, in multicurrency).

    The volume of mortgage lending boosted almost 3-fold, that of automobile loans increased 2.2-fold in 2005 as compared to 2004.

    The Finance and Credit Bank successfully implemented the following credit programs in 2005:

  • "Real Estate on Credit"
  • "A Car on Credit"
  • "Payments by Installment"
  • Commercial lending
  • "Household and Computer Equipment on Credit"
  • Crediting against deposit pledging

     

    Moreover, several new programs of individual credit financing were launched:

  • loans for foreign and domestic car purchase without down payment
  • loans for commercial real estate purchase (residential, office space)
  • loans for purchase of housing on primary market without collateral
  • loans for purchase of pre-owned autos under Trade In system.

     

    The Bank proceeds implementing a unique Social Loyalty Program that offers credits to individuals, who are employees of the Bank's corporate clients. They enjoy soft loan terms (lower advance payment amounts, lower credit interest rates).

     

  • In 2005:

  • mortgage lending period was extended to 20 years
  • maximum period of automobile loans was extended
  • advance payment amounts under "Housing on Credit", "Commercial Crediting against Real Estate Pledging" were cut

     

    2 977 Bank customers of the Bank took hold of loans for car purchase.

    The Finance and Credit Bank extensively cooperates with the State Youth Housing assistance Fund.

    1 027 Bank customers took advantage of the "Housing on Credit" Program in 2005, including 565 under the program of the State Youth Housing assistance Fund.

    During 2005, over 47 thousand customers used "Payment by Installment" program and other credit products of the Bank.

    The Bank, within its consumer crediting programs, effectively cooperates with over 200 car wholesalers/retailers and 50 realtor firms.
