INTERBANK BANKING

During 2005, the Finance and Credit Bank achieved significant success in extending international cooperation, maintenance and strengthening positions of a reliable and stable partner both for foreign and Ukrainian correspondent banks and counteragent banks.

In 2005 the number of processed payment orders from correspondent banks grew 3-fold as compared with 2004.

The Finance and Credit Bank is a clearing bank for over 45 Ukrainian and foreign banks and offers its clients to perform operations in various currencies through its own correspondent accounts.

In 2005 the Bank opened the NOSTRO correspondent accounts with American Express Bank (New York) and American Express Bank GmbH (Frankfurt).

Modern types of communication (S.W.I.F.T, TELEX) enable synchronous cooperation with foreign financial institutions, carrying out of payment orders from correspondent banks in currencies of different countries at maximum speed.

Major correspondent banks of the Finance and Credit Bank are:

• for US dollars - Citibànk NA (New York), American Express Bank (New York)
• for Euro - American Express Bank GmbH (Frankfurt), Commerzbànk AG (Frankfurt), Ost-West Handelsbank AG (Frankfurt), WestLB (Dusseldorf)
• for Russian rubles - CJSC JSCB INTERPROMBANK (Moscow), JSCB PROMSVIAZBANK CJSC (Moscow)
• for UK pounds sterling - Citibànk NA (London)
• for Kazakhstani tenge - Kazkommertsbank OJSC (Almaty);
• for Belarus rubles - Priorbank OJSC (Minsk), Belvnesheconombank ( Minsk)
• for Swiss franks and precious metals - Credit Suisse (Zurich) and others.

As of 1 January 2006, the Finance and Credit Bank had NOSTRO accounts with 42 Ukrainian and foreign banks, 83 LORO accounts with Ukrainian and foreign banks, the most active among them were over 45 LORO correspondent banks.

The Finance and Credit Bank offers its agent banks various forms of cooperation within the scope of payment card business:

• Participation in MasterCard International system as an Affiliate member
• Participation as an Associate member in VISA International system

The Bank cooperates:

• with 18 agent banks delivering transfer services through AVERS system
• with 123 banks in precious metals importation
• with 123 banks in importation/ exportation of cash: US dollars and euros to/from all regions of Ukraine

The Bank accepts worn and damaged foreign bank notes for collection.
