    High-quality service, respect for customers' interests, and pursuit of mutually advantageous strategic partnerships remain the key priorities of our operational banking.

   We realize that the future of our customers is our future. Our operational banking employees strive for continuous improvement of the quality of services and introduction of new banking technologies to most fully meet the needs of those who trust the bank to manage their money. 

Throughout 2006 we have worked constantly to improve operations at the bank.

    Major focus has been on reengineering – tasks of unifying business processes of service, maximally standardizing and universalizing the entire product line with the objective of minimizing operating costs.
    Throughout 2006 we have worked to improve the structure of operational banking at the Head Office and at all branches taking into account new process flow charts.  As a result, operational units have formed divisions responsible for the entire range of operations of supporting the work of sales points.  This has significantly reduced the workload on branch employees, freeing up time to work with customers, and has significantly minimized operational risks.

The past year has seen a significant improvement in quantitative performance indicators of operational banking units. Compared to 2005, the volume of national currency in cash handled through the bank's system has nearly doubled from UAH 12.727 bln in 2005 to UAH 20.478 bln in 2006.

There has been a significant increase in the turnover of the national and international currency payments department. The total volume of payments in foreign currencies has nearly doubled from the equivalent of UAH 60.41 mln in multiple currencies in 2005 to UAH 105.11 mln in multiple currencies in 2006.

   The Department of Currency Operations and Currency Control was created in 2006 within the structure of the bank's operational banking system.
The department combines the division of currency operations (foreign exchange division) and the export and import operations control division.  
   This has made it possible to reinforce the functions of currency control of customers' export and import operations and offer customers full and comprehensive services for their export and import operations within a single structural unit of the bank. The department's specialists take account of the individual specifics of every customer and use approaches that maximally meet the customer's needs.
     
   The volume of customers' operations of selling and buying non-cash foreign currency for hryvnias in 2006 increased by 147% from UAH 3.87 bln in 2005 to UAH 5.67 bln in 2006.   
    In 2006, the Bank signed contracts with 18 major customers for collection of cash proceeds, among them the airline companies International Airlines of Ukraine and Aerosvit.
